Permission Ministries is a partnership of friends doing church differently in the 21st century!
Permission Ministries, formerly Third Day Churches, began in 2001 with a group of pastors and friends of Gary Goodell. As a fellowship of permission givers we encourage each other to experiment with doing church and ministry differently, and hopefully more effectively in this postmodern twenty-first century.
Today, Permission Ministries continues to be a partnership of friends, leaders and ministries that are committed to helping each individual believer embrace their unique identity in Christ and to fully discover their personal destiny.
We accomplish this through our network of ministries and personal mentoring and equipping. Our heart is to exploring new ways to express our faith and impact our world. It’s what we call doing church differently in the 21st century. Check out some of the ministries below.

Jesus modeled leadership by living and walking with His disciples, everyday people, and the religious leaders of His day.
Where Would Jesus Lead? is about leading among—rather than leading from, or leading over, or leading from titles, positions, or assumed roles. Author and ministry leader Gary Goodell believes it is time to transition to a more collaborative style of leading, one of coming alongside people, for the people’s sake, and empowering them to achieve their personal God-given destiny. Thinking prophetically, the author courageously contends that interactive relationships that are purposeful yet inherently chaotic are ones to be joyfully embraced.
