Worship Revolution | Part four: Worship and community
You want to be intimate with the Lord, but the distinct feeling of scores of people around you make it hard. But what if you were in a room with people you feel close to? Does this make it any easier? If you felt safe around the people you are worshiping with, it might. I know it is for me. This ‘safe’ feeling, is one that only comes with a sense of community. Community, by the very nature of the word, implies a couple of things: commune (as in communing together, or ‘coming together’), and unity (being in union with one another).
Worship Revolution | Part three: Worship and the Arts
He has created all things, and all things are created by Him (Col 1:16). We also know that we are created in His image (Gen. 1:27). Does it stand to reason then, that creativity should flow from GOD’s creation? Shouldn’t we be creative as Jesus is creative? I believe the answer is yes.
Worship Revolution | Part two: Worship and the Prophetic
These worship leaders were assumed to be prophetic in their duties. Webster's Ninth Collegiate Dictionary defines prophecy as, “the inspired declaration of divine will and purpose”. To prophesy means, “to utter, by divine inspiration” (also Webster's Ninth). It was supposed, that these worship leaders would be declaring and speaking forth, what the Lord was inspiring them to say.
Worship Revolution | Part One: Worship as a Priority
The very act of worship itself, implies some level of creativity. Without creativity in worship, it becomes stagnant, & unchanging. If our times of worship are stagnant & unchanging, are we then allowing the Holy Spirit to come & speak prophetically as He sees fit?

Changing of the Wineskins (Part 2)
When we look closely at the different aspects and effects of certain numbers in group life, the question gets raised as to whether or not these understandings of numerical dynamics can actually help us gather more intentionally.
What Would Church Look Like IF?
I heard a startling number the other day. It was the estimated value of land and buildings held by the church in North America. It was something to the tune of 70 Billion dollars! Yes, billion!
How Then Shall We Meet?
When we look closely at the different aspects and effects of certain numbers in group life, the question gets raised as to whether or not these understandings of numerical dynamics can actually help us gather more intentionally.
Missional House Churches (Part 2)
A standing concern of us over the recent years of emphasis on housechurching and community, is that if we are not discerning and careful, we can get so ingrown, so addicted to loving our intimate fellowship, that we might forget to be missional, to go beyond us, and possibly even deftly ignore the enormity and the timeliness of the God’s Great Commission and today’s ripe harvest.
Missional House Churches (Part 1)
A standing concern over the recent emphasis on housechurching, especially with its strong emphasis on the need for deeper fellowship and more authentic community, is that we might be once again concentrating too much on those already saved, fixated on catering to their emotional, social and edification needs, getting too ingrown, becoming less missional, and ignoring the enormity of the Great Commission and today’s harvest.
Why House Churches Are So Important?
It is now obvious (at least to some of us) that “housechurching” is not just a bailout reaction for believers currently discontent or dissatisfied with today’s church.
Attractional Church
It was a regular Monday morning for me. At least it started out that way…
Church: A Family of Families
In Jesus’ classic style of pedagogy He used many forms in expressing many truths. Many of these forms are loaded with picture words, or types, analogies and metaphors that are in parabolic form bringing clarity to the truth of His essential teachings.
Building the Generations
Proclamation always presupposes community. What are we saying when we say, “church?” When we invite others to “church” what exactly is it that are we offering people?

So for this Valentine’s Day I decided to “speak” the love language that my wife Gina speaks the most to people she loves; food.
24/7 Church | Molong Nacua
Jesus never intended for Christianity to become a religious sect. He did however want His followers to follow His footsteps in how He lived life, as designed by God, on this earth.
